François Lareau establishes Frank Lareau Inc.; purchases first
truck and trailer.

1963
Bagged wood shavings are produced on-site in sawmills. A bag of wood chips
crosses the border from Canada into the US for the first time.
1963-1989
Frank Lareau Inc. introduces peat moss bagging machines into Quebec sawmills
to package wood shavings; the truck fleet expands; the list of clients
gets longer; the number of wood chips bags increases every year.
1980
Creation of Litbec Inc., a transport division of Frank Lareau Inc.

1989
Purchase of the Berthier-Sur-Mer site, near Quebec City, where bulk wood
shavings are delivered, processed and bagged.
